Working with youth and adults on probation in varying states on the Journey.do platform as a coach

•Worked on Journey.do platform as a story reviewer for both detained youth as well as youth in the field on probation.•Trained officers on how to use the Journey.do platform as well as answered questions from detention officer staff while programming on the unit.•Provided programming to boys and girls intake units on Journey.do including answering questions, helping navigate the platform, as well as giving verbal praise on submitted stories.•In charge of the JIPS 1-5 Journey.do groups with duties including weekly roster updates, contacting youth about the platform, updating officers on progress, as well as giving group activity insight to the JIPS supervisor.•Created a phone call transcript for staff to use when calling youth about Journey.do including identifying which youth to call.•Helped test out AI growth plans both in third and first person as well as worked with youth on growth plans on the unit

Worked as a floater Courtroom Assistant/Bailiff in the Criminal Division. Job responsibilities included opening/closing the courtroom, checking in attorneys/defendants, entering information about what happened during the hearing, resulting out the hearing, doing jury pull for trial followed by leading the jury during trial, provided training to new CA’s, learned how to interpret/enter court documents, interacted with Court reporters, interpreters, court clerks, Judicial Officers, Detention officers, and other varying admin. I also needed to know various software such as Microsoft Excel, Teams, Forms, and ICIS. I also was required to do secretarial duties such as filing, scanning, printing, answering phones, scheduling hearings, etc.

Early Intervention ages 2-8Provided ABA therapy with 2-6 patients daily, including data collection, entering/billing insurance after each appointment, implementation of a Behavior Support Plan, and communicating with parents and families both orally and written about the patient day to day. Also performed various office tasks such as sitting at the front desk greeting visitors, creating program materials, and basic office equipment knowledge.I also received recognition receiving 2 awards for 2/5 core values of the company (caring and fun)Learned/used Central Reach for billing,data collection, and insurance.

Promotion within the company to have a greater case load with more children(providing ABA therapy) on more teams as well as helping out with operations tasks and duties needing to be fulfilled by the directors.I was also in charge of a program I revived at the company titled “Social Arts” with the goal of bringing more peer interactions as well as a creative outlet to our clients.

I provided 1:1 ABA direct therapy to patients with the below diagnoses in a variety of settings (school,in the community, after school programs, at therapy appointments, and in- clinic). The day to day included 6.5-8 hour shifts assisting the patient in tasks ranging from school work, to social interactions, to life skills. I was also in charge of collecting data of the patients behavior while following a behavior support plan created by the BCBA. I also became an RBT with the Behavior Certification Board by obtaining my credential. I worked with patients diagnosed with: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Epilepsy, Bi-Polar Disorder, Alternating hemiplegia of childhood (AHC). I also have worked with both verbal and non- verbal patients with experience using Proloquo, TouchChat, and LAMP.

When COVID19 struck, our company had to open satellite offices to provide services to clients on site who we were previously serving in schools. With this, this role was created.-in charge of keys unlocking/locking the building, getting the building ready to open, as well as being in charge of closing the building-During program day in charge of dispersing petty cash, providing breaks to RBT’s, in charge of the required cleaning log, took inventory/requested items be ordered when low, usage of basic office equipment including fax, printer, laminator, excel, and copier.

Providing respite care to a family with a child with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder 1:1. Respite included attending an after school program through the Boys & Girls Club of Burlington, VT. Challenges included elopement, aggression, and communication needs. Provided 5-10 hours per week in addition to working full time.
