Promoted to an Account Executive, I was responsible for the profitability, growth, and retention of assigned book of business within a territory consistent with overall business objectives. I exhibited an aptitude in underwriting primarily complex risks. As part of my job, I worked with other business units to support market penetration objectives and seek out cross-sell opportunities.

Worked collaboratively with the underwriting team to generate sales revenue among customer accounts, including upselling and cross-selling Travelers pollution and professional products. During this time I continued to develop and refine my underwriting skillset, while also gaining more responsibility.

Actively participated in a structured training program that combined formal classroom and on-the-job-training. During this time I acquired in-depth knowledge in producing and underwriting new and renewal business, including building and maintaining productive relationships in assigned territories.
