I was appointed to develop a route to market for the RBS Mortgage portfolio throughout the South Wales region. I consistently delivered YOY lending growth within this role to establish RBS as a primary mortgage partner for residential and investment properties across South Wales.Key functions included interpreting the RBS lending policy to present a unique set of mortgage value propositions for the portfolio. Led networking and marketing to identify and engage with over 200 Independent Mortgage and Financial Advisors across the region as well as providing product information and other sales support required.Additionally included responsibility for conducting assessment reviews of other Business Development Managers to check compliance and support them in developing their skills.

Responsible for underwriting of mortgages throughout South Wales to a value of £250K, handling all stages of the process from application through to completion.Included analysis of individual mortgage applications, including all supporting documentation to verify compliance against GMAC’s lending & affordability criteria.

As part of a small team, I was invited to help set up a new Office Support team in the Cardiff office. I helped devise and implementing processes designed to supported significant growth of corporate business department.Subsequently responsible for providing comprehensive office support for a field based Woolwich Mortgage Business Development Manager covering both Bristol and South Wales.I assisted the BDM to develop and deliver lending campaigns across the region whilst managing all inbound enquiries, pipeline creation and appointment coordination
