Voluntary Advisory Panel Member and Case Assessor for Inside Justice a not for profit organisation for the investigation of alleged miscarriages of justice.

Inside Justice is a charity which assists people who are claiming miscarriages of justice. We run an investigations unit which takes a fresh look at cases for any potential new lines of enquiry.Since 2010 we have received more than 1,000 applications every one of which has been reviewed and offered advice, support and expertise, where appropriate. We have made television programmes about some of our cases, most notably a Panorama about Colin Norris’ case and the BBC TV series Conviction: Murder at the Station about Roger Kearney’s. We have carried out detailed investigations and made submissions on nine cases to both the Court of Appeal and the CCRC. We have nurtured an exemplary Advisory Panel of more than a dozen eminent lawyers and experts who work entirely pro bono and includes: a retired Judge; world-renowned scientists, CCTV & digital evidence experts; cold-case review specialists; former senior police officers and intelligence managers; solicitors and barristers.
