I am a recent graduate from the University of Southern California, where I earned a degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Health Care Studies. I have acquired a variety of experience through my time working as a Human Resources Assistant at O'Connell Landscape Maintenance, a COPE Health Scholar at Mission Hospital, and a Student Event Coordinator at USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. I was also a researcher at the Language Development Lab at USC, where I explored language acquisition patterns in infants and young children. After serving as an EMT in LA county for 1 year at AmbuServe Ambulance Service, I have transitioned into a new role at Hoag Hospital Irvine. I provide life-saving interventions and compassionate care on this emergency room team.In my free time, I volunteer as a student tutor, teaching elementary-level students in the fields of history and science. I also try to give back to the community that I live in by working in South County Outreach Food Pantry to combat Orange County's rising hunger rates. Additionally, I volunteer as a crisis counselor at Crisis Text Line and serve as a mental health advocate. In the future, I aspire to apply my work and volunteer experiences in the healthcare field to become a physician.
