I started out as a crew member at the McDonald's in Gooding, Idaho,and eventually worked my way up to manager at the Buhl, Idaho,branch. As I advanced to the position of department manager, I alsoacquired the abilities I would need to step in for the general managerand maintenance when they were away. It was my duty in each of theseroles to guarantee the safety of the staff and the patrons, as well ascompliance with all health regulations. During my work, I was in chargeof a wide range of duties, including daily cash drawer checks, bankdeposits, equipment maintenance, weekly and monthly inventories, andtimetables. For every new hire, I conducted the interviews, hiring, andtraining.
