I have been able to grow my career in commercial with the Estimator role here at Mammoet. Some of my responsibilities include, but are not limited to are: conducting all business in a professional, respectful manner, understanding project requirements, develop/realizes cost effective safe solutions to project requirements, collecting specific information regarding the upcoming work that is to be quoted, estimating the cost of the work and provides quotes or bid packages to the client, following up with clients to determine the status of the quoted work and answer any questions they may have, for successful quotes, obtains any additional information required, purchase order, reviews commercial terms and facilitates hand-over to the assigned Project Manager.

Canada

The role of Marketing & Communications Advisor has allowed me to develop strong communication and analytical skills. I manage the content for our Canada region and report to the America’s Marketing and Communications Manager located in the United States, therefore communication between teams is essential for success. My responsibilities include, but are not limited to: press releases for Mammoet’s projects and community involvement, creation of project sheets for clients in order to emphasize the work Mammoet is capable of, client feedback surveys, internal and external events, budget creation, social media monitoring and posting, traveling to work sites to take pictures and seek information from clients, public relations and customer service, crisis communication, creation and distribution of Mammoet merchandise, creation of brochures and other publications, CRM database management, SAP invoicing and inventory control, newsletter and publications development, trade show presence, internal and external event planning, and time sheet management. The variety of work that I encounter at Mammoet has allowed me to build strong management and communication skills in order to complete tasks to an exceptional level. The software I have used throughout my time at Mammoet includes: InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Prezi, CRM, SAP, and multiple social media platforms.

Throughout my time at KLC I built strong relationships with both my co-workers and guests. My Senior Instructor duties included, but are not limited to: on deck supervisor of evening lessons, administrative duties, instructor performance audits, inventory upkeep, customer service, handling guest concerns, instructor scheduling, private swimming lessons, and use of CLASS, When-to-Work, and Microsoft Office. My largest accomplishment as a Senior Instructor has been the creation of the Aquatics 101 volunteer program offered at Kinsmen. As a basic swimming instructor I also taught a variety of swimming lessons, first aid, and leadership courses

My job entailed a large amount of customer interaction and satisfaction. Met branch sales targets each month. I used multiple computer software programs as a SAP to access customers’ accounts and to complete designated tasks. In addition required the learning of financial contracts to ensure customer security. Other duties included: cash handling, cash ordering and shipping, customer phone calls, branch start and end of day tasks, and filing.
