Samantha is an RPA certified Archaeologist with over 10 years of experience in Cultural Resource Management. She currently serves as a Senior Archaeologist at SEARCH, a global archaeology consulting firm, having previously worked as an Archaeological Crew Chief for PaleoWest (now Chronical Heritage). At SEARCH, she leads teams with a keen focus on efficiency in the field, ensuring projects are optimized and executed with precision. Samantha holds a BA in Archaeology from the University of Pretoria (2014) and an MA in Archaeology from the University of Chicago (2017). Her fieldwork spans South Africa, Botswana, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda, Italy, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and over 20 states across the continental US.Her expertise includes archaeological survey, testing, evaluation, data recovery, and monitoring, along with remote sensing, GPR survey and analysis. Samantha has contributed to projects in sectors such as oil and gas, renewables, telecommunications, transportation, offshore wind, and federal initiatives. Her research interests encompass the American Southwest, Mesoamerica, the African Iron Age, Remote Sensing, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Rock Art, Botany, and Photogrammetry.
