About Samantha Shepherd
l am a strategy and implementation leader with almost twenty years of experience facilitating complex system and community change. I am passionate about all humans being supported to reach their full chosen potential and building health systems that provide that needed support with respect, justice, and compassion. As the Executive Director of CCO Oregon, I lead a coalition of over 30 organizations that advocate for health care access that is equitable, affordable, and high quality. With over seven years of experience in this role, I have developed and implemented strategic plans and budgets, directed policy and other projects, built and sustained effective relationships, and managed end-to-end operations for the organization. I have a proven track record of delivering results and creating impact as an executive leader, team member, and an independent consultant. I strive to foster organizational productivity and sustainability through building diverse collaborations and efficacious partnerships across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors.
