I am an ambitious individual with a passion for helping others. I like to challenge myself and enjoy building onto my knowledge and experience wherever possible. A philosophy I always try to live by is that, it is not about the end result, it is about the journey getting there and the experiences gained along the way. My professional competency involves sensitivity and emotional intuition, an efficacious personality trait that I have developed during my time working with others. Having good listening skills, being open to new ideas and at all times exhibiting true kindness with the sole intent of serving others, is a crucial element of being successful in mental health care. I am more than willing to give what is needed to get the job done, no matter the amount of time and energy that is required. I believe that I am open, passionate and a hard worker with a balanced approach for what is best for employer, self and others. I am experienced in diffusing issues with others and I have done so on many occasions during my various part-time jobs.I am a team player and strongly believe you need to be adaptable to change and embrace change. I certainly enjoy variation as this allows me to be exposed to new experiences and ideas, especially through voluntary work. I have over 300 hours of community service and I have built a foundation of trust and respect with all my employers. I babysit, house-sit, pet-sit and tutor. Additionally, I am also a client assistant at Pam Golding Properties for a local estate.
