During my time at the University of Illinois at Chicago, I initiated, proposed, and implemented policy changes in relation to Title IX, the ADA, and Title VII to improve employee protections as well as university compliance. I conducted investigations and issued findings for complaints of harassment and discrimination. I drafted responses on behalf of the university to defend against lawsuits from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Illinois Department of Human Rights. I prepared and contributed to the implementation of the University's affirmative action plan and developed strategies to increase diversity.
