Work side-by-side with physicians and other dosimetrists to create patient specific treatment plans and other duties as described: assist with CT simulations, create patient-specific immobilization devices for optimal planning/treatment, design plans to deliver prescribed dose as defined by physician while considering OARs during planning process (specifically: 3-D, IMRT, Rapid Arc, SBRT), and assist therapists to ensure correct setup/treatment delivery accuracy (via tattoo trianglization, KV/MV images, and/or CBCTs). Additionally, I am proficient with Eclipse/Aria Version 15 (training). I have been trained by BrainLab in the use of their planning software, couch, cones, stereotactic frame and other stereo- devices. I have also received training by Varian in TrueBeam Operations, RapidArc Planning, RapidPlan Verification (Model Creations), and Respiratory Gating. I have received training for Siemens CT (large bore) and various treatment devices (SaBella Boards, QFix Boards, and various head casts specific for H&N/SRS brain lesions). -Currently, my work is focused on optimal/ treatment planning/documentation (emergents complete within hour, 2-D/3-D (breast, abdo,pelvis, extremities, skin) complete within hours, RA planning (lungs/prostates/H&N to include LN) complete within day (quick turnarounds are preferred at current position). I am responsible for maintaining RTOG/NCCN protocol guidelines (trained/responsible for updating ClearCheck- used for verification against all 3-D/IMRT/SBRT treatments plans), building templates (contouring, RA, and prescription), building/maintaining documents, and building RapidPlan models (currently built templates for prostates/prostate beds w/wo LN).

Radiation Therapy:-Clinical Practicum: August 2006 to May 2008-Hired July 2008 as ARRT board certifed Radiation Therapist until August 2009. -Preformed various duties to include but not limited to the following: performed emergency patient set-ups on the Ximatron & treatment table, performed basic calculations for emergency treatment, reproduced patient set-ups from CT marks & administered treatment as presented within the approved plan, administered daily treatment & assisted patients daily throughout their treatment, took weekly port films to assure accuracy in patient set-up, documented all administered dose & pertinent information in patient charts, scheduled patients for daily appointments, & also worked and assisted other therapist, students, & doctors on a daily basis. Additionally, preformed established guidelines for machine maintenance daily & worked regularly with physicists & technicians to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
