As an oldest child, I've been teaching for as long as I can remember. I pursued teaching as an ESL teacher in South Korea where I had extremely small class sizes and I loved it. Then when I came back to the States and worked as a middle school language arts teacher, I was overwhelmed by the amount of support that was needed but not available for the success of my students. I began looking into special education positions until I ultimately stumbled upon an RBT position. ABA provided exactly what I was looking for in my career journey.
