Prepare and review coach’s contracts with legal counsel. • Supervise the department’s payroll and signatory approval on departmental time sheet certification and appointment forms. • Hire, supervise and evaluate all student staff that work within the business operation. • Determine and assign workload to UAW, students, and non-UAW staff members and coaches. • Assess and develop departmental policies and procedures based on university standards and industry trends, as well as provide interpretation of instructions, policies, and procedures. • Assist Assistant Athletic Director- NCAA Compliance and student-athlete Academic Success, as needed. • Assist the Manager of Budget and Planning with budget development and monitoring expenditures to maintain fiscal integrity.• Assist the Manager of Budget and Planning and the Director of Athletic Marketing with budgetary and invoicing in advertising and marketing areas. • Assist with development, execution, and implementation of strategic plans. • Other duties as assigned.
