I am very proud with all that I have achieved in this role when it comes to working directly with teams and young people to achieve their best possible life outcomes. A summary of what this role entails are;Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, Senior On Call Duties, Work alongside the head of care, Key Lead into the Clinical Team and working closely with CAMHS, Thrive Licensed Practitioner,Facilitates monthly Multi Agency Early Intervention and Preventative Meetings with the Police and Criminal Analysis, Mapping.Attend strategy, pre-disruption, professional meetings , Review all young peoples behaviours, patterns, trends, risks and interventions on a weekly basis, Working directly in the homes with registered managers, team members and the young people, looking at appropriate interventions for the young people to get the best possible outcomes, Provide direct support and intervention to homes in crisisfacilitate therapeutic training to the teams to develop their understanding of the young peoples adverse childhood experiences and how trauma manifests itself in their behaviours. Actively involved in the development of homes and implementing action plans, Facilitate Audits Train and develop key workers enabling them to confidently take on the role and complete direct work with young people, Introduce sensory and therapeutic equipment for the homes enabling team to introduces these organically to their young people, Reflective de-brief and supervisions with team members, Reflective debrief and direct work with young people.

I successfully managed a children's home where adults work therapeutically with young people who have suffered trauma in their lives. Some of my responsibilities involved working closely with external agencies such as the local authority and police and supervise my team to support them within their role and also provide them with tools to enhance their knowledge in working with the children. I positively managed a house which had successfully maintained a Good Ofsted rating following an inspection and proudly received an award from Wiltshire Police alongside my colleagues for 'excellence working in partnership'.

I worked within a Therapeutic Community which supports children and young people with behaviour and emotional difficulties such as; mental health, self-harming, Anorexia, Bulimia, Suicidal Ideation, PTSD, ADHS, ASD, CSE, Learning difficulties, Attachment issues, Violent and Anti-Social Behaviour, Sexually Abused, Emotional or Physically abused. My duties are very diverse as my role involves working with all the professionals involved in the children cases and working regularly with the children. My duties involve, working on shift with the young people, supervising the staff team with different style supervisions such as, phone call, observations, therapeutic supervision, group supervision and the statutory supervision. I facilitate annual appraisals with the staff team, interview potential new candidates to join the staff group, completion of risk assessments, manage a rota, de-briefs with the staff team, on call duties, facilitate training to the staff team. I am a qualified Team Teach Tutor in Physical Intervention and De-escalation approach which involves teaching staff many Physical techniques that can keep them safe from harm and importantly the young people safe. The de-escalation approach provides a holistic view on what drives the behaviours and positive ways of working and understanding the behaviours. I am involved with chairing team meetings, attending meetings with a clinical team to discuss individual case files and current high risk behaviours, engage in individual work with the young people as a part of their treatment planning, Supervising family visits, I have represented the company in various court cases, planning holidays and activities for the young people and engage the young people in group work which I am responsible for planning and facilitating.team to discuss individual case files and high risk behaviours.I engage in individual work with the young people, plan holidays and activities, group work.

Leading a team, working alongside children and young people with Behavioural and Emotional Difficulties, on call duties, attend reviews, complete care plans and risk assessments, key worker to a child which involved managing there pastoral care and placement plan. Ensureing objectives agreed for the placement was being met.
