Since studying contemporary studio vocals (Estill Voice Training method) and music theory at Southern Cross University, Australia, I have worked consistently as a singer and songwriter fronting my own bands The Mime Set, Lazy 8 and Wasp Summer, and providing background vocals live and on record for acts such as Eric Eckhart, Souls On Board, Tom Lee Who, Phia, Sean M. Whelan, Tom Cunningham and The People People.Since relocating to Berlin in 2009, I started teaching singing and songwriting to children ages 3-16 with Berlitz Kids & Teens GmbH, InterACT gGmbH and at Kitas such as Berlin Cosmopolitan School and Kindertagesstätte Lucky Kids.In 2018, I began to take private singing students, and recommenced my studies in Estill Voice Training under Florian Unruh (Berlin) and Dorte Hyldstrup (Copenhagen), completing the Estill Level 1 and 2 courses. I am studying towards my Estill Master Trainer certification.

Based on Shambush's 2013 Wuthering Heights event, I created and facilitated an open-source organisational model that supported some 30+ event organisers worldwide to host The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever, Kate Bush celebration events, in 20 cities across the world on July 16, 2016.The idea was simple - gather as many people together as possible and dance the choreography to Kate Bush's Wuthering Heights for three glorious, gleeful minutes. We had roughly 20,000 participants across 20 cities including London, Melbourne, Atlanta, Montreal, Tel Aviv, Copenhagen, Oslo, Sydney, Wellington and more.I hosted the Berlin event which got some 800 dancers and 1000 viewers, plus facilitated the communication and support mechanisms for our global organising collective using social media groups.We received an incredible amount of press coverage all over the world for this event, and Kate Bush herself said, in an interview, that she was made aware of the event through friends.

I led the communications team at STATE Festival for its 2016 edition - STATE of Emotion: The Sentimental Machine. With my social media and marketing colleagues, I created our festival's voice for all press and social media output. We quickly generated an online buzz that exponentially increased our visibility prior to and during the festival. I wrote blog posts and speeches, tweets, facebook posts and press releases. Generating media partnerships and interviews, I fielded requests for our team and panelists in a friendly and timely manner, and acted as on-site media liaison. The festival got high profile coverage in print, online, radio and TV outlets with an estimated combined reach of 712m viewers and roughly 12,9m impressions from October - November. We received coverage in FAZ, the Huffington Post (US), Die Tagesspiegel, Motherboard, ARTE (DE/FR), Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandradio Kultur, airberlin inflight magazine, L'officiel (DE), Berliner Morgenpost, ABC Radio National (AU), RBB radio and TV, ARD, Fast Co and Grist among others, and entertainment and science coverage online in six countries, and right across Berlin.
