I have been a school librarian for the past seven years, and I am currently an elementary librarian with Vanguard Academy Charter School. During this time, I have worked with school community members to facilitate an ethical use of technology, a love of literature, and have facilitated teachers in their curriculum and instruction goals. Previously, I readied young minds as a Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten teacher with Vanguard Academy and worked as a reference librarian with UTB-TSC. As a reference librarian I instructed undergraduate and graduate students on how to acquire proper traditional or digital materials for research purposes. Currently, I am attending a masters of educational technology program through UTRGV with a future goal of entering the educational technology field.
