I worked in the Neurobehavioral inpatient unit. The kids staying there were kids marked as being a danger to themselves or others and had severe problematic behaviors. I provided basic care while implementing treatment plans the ABA therapist created. I also kept track of all my patient's behaviors and how often they would perform these behaviors. I would have to count how often they hit their head, body, or me. I documented when they said inappropriate comments, dropped to the floor, ran/eloped, how long a burst was, etc.This job required a lot of patience and good communication when working with other staff members to ensure the patient's safety.

I worked in the office assisting with the business owner's paperwork, creating materials the therapist needed for their clients, assisting and shadowing sessions, and talking to other businesses about collaborations or events that Noteable Progressions was hosting.
