Special Events Coordinator
CurrentCurrently, I work at the Directors Guild of America (DGA) as the Special Events Coordinator. This role has allowed me to expand my appreciation and enthusiasm for media of all kinds. My daily responsibilities involve close collaboration with DGA Council and Committee members, DGA executives, staff liaisons, and several departments to assist in planning special events, such as panel discussions, seminars, screenings, receptions, and webinars to name a few. I am actively involved in pre-planning, organizing, and executing 2-3 events monthly. I create event rundowns, design programs, share event logistics, and then act as the Point of Contact day-of. Following events, I assist with writing copy for the DGA website and the Monthly Magazine to recap everything.
