• Manage the development and execution of the Strategic Plan and support the development of the Annual Operating Plan • Conduct fact-based analysis of market trends; competitive data; technology advancements; and customer needs assessment and new product developments• Evaluate business and organic growth strategies by product grade particularly geographical expansion and optimizing freight and distribution• Maintain global industry cost curves and support strategic pricing decisions• Lead cross-functional marketing team and champion organic growth strategies globally that drive op income results • Drive Operational Marketing Plan: Develop and implement integrated communications plan to improve consistency of messaging and to improve customer awareness of our product offering and value proposition. Work closely with product management, integrated supply chain, sales and technology to ensure profitable growth while meeting customer needs.• Champion NPI Projects: Work closely with sales, technology, marketing, and legal to evaluate new product introductions throughout the gate review process. Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize projects consistent with overall global strategy. Deliver the voice of the customer throughout the gate review process.

• Execute analysis that clearly defines industries and markets of interest • Identify industry and market trends/ risks/ opportunities that impact the business globally• Determine business implications and support development of strategic alternatives• Assess and monitor competitor dynamics and strategies • Develop expertise in the fertilizer and other attractive downstream markets that support the business’ desire to grow in attractive spaces • Support related New Product Introduction (NPI) projects once underway • Develop process and systems to gather and communicate appropriate competitive intelligence to drive strategy development and educate the field on marketplace dynamics• Support marketing programs including customer excellence (Customer Relationship Management, Voice of the Customer, Customer Profitability Analysis, etc.)
