I held the position of Regional Director for the Top Employers Institute Africa and Benelux. I was the senior regional manager reporting to the CEO for South African, Netherlands and Belgium operations and teams. I was responsible for successfully leading the sales, marketing and PR strategy for the regions working directly with Board and travelling extensively between Cape Town, Amsterdam and Mechelen.

I was the face of the local company and as such worked within the field of employer branding as a specialist focusing on the Top Employers research, internal communications and employer branding. I spoke regularly at conferences on related topics, particularly the IPM Convention in Sun City. During my tenure, I was commissioned to design the first-ever Employer Branding short course for the UCT Graduate School of Business which I designed, hosted and facilitated together with Employer Branding UK expert: Richard Mosely.I worked closely with the UCT GSB on a number of initiatives, one of my favourite being the coordination of the mentorship programme for the Business Acumen for Artists programme. This allowed me to match aspiring creatives and artists to excellent businessmen and women, entrepreneurs and mavericks that to coach and mentor them as they worked on entrepreneurial plans to make a business of their art.
