“It is imperative that we, the peoples of Earth, declare our responsibility to one another, to the greater community of life, and to future generations.” - The Earth CharterAn alumna of Florida International University and the University of Florida, I work to support the conservation of natural resources, the restoration of ecosystem services, and the equitable development of climate resiliency. With over five years of professional education in the fields of Sustainability, Environmental Policy, and Natural Resource Management (in addition to Agricultural & Natural Resource Law, Geography, and Ecological Economics), my work assesses the multi-faceted nature of the environmental challenges unique to the modern age. I have undergone advanced training in environmental policy analysis, project management, biodiversity conservation, and biogeographic and statistical analyses using ArcMap (GIS) and RStudio. Unquestionably, the maintenance, enhancement, and protection of ecosystem functionality and the quality of our lands, coastlines, air supply, and water resources are crucial for the wellbeing of both society and the economy. I aspire to build upon and apply my experience in project development, environmental policy, and management toward work with landowners, governments, and vulnerable communities.Currently employed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resource’s Watershed Protection Branch, I am open to any and all connections with those who share my vehemence for restoring the natural environment and expanding wildlife habitats. My experience with organizations that address large-scale land, water, wildlife conservation, and green infrastructure inform my natural resource policy work on the State level. This has strengthened my resilience and interpersonal skills, and has allowed me to demonstrate leadership, technical skill, and self- and team-management.At the end of the day, I can promise authenticity as I am strongly self-motivated, creative, and analytical in nature. My intent is to serve for the benefit of vulnerable communities and historically disenfranchised individuals, beyond socio-political boundaries, in order protect our greatest assets.
