Hi! I’m an imaginative, service-oriented professional with a Ph.D. in Communications and 10+ years of experience in the media and social impact space. What energizes me? Tackling problems with creativity and precision. Synthesizing and presenting data and stories through compelling writing and design. Bringing ideas to life through program design, program management, and team building. Helping organizations and employees discover new ways for increasing impact through their work. I’ve founded and held leadership positions at start-ups and established mission-oriented organizations, where I’ve improved system processes, increased board engagement, and innovated new programs with a focus on equity and representation. My academic work includes teaching positions at American University and Catholic University, participation in the Emerging Scholars program at the Milton Wolf Seminar on Public Diplomacy, and several research collaborations and publications focused on new media, civic participation, and intercultural relations.I love any and all methods of creativity, and in my spare time, I enjoy writing scripts, children's books, business sketches, and more.
