* Responsible for performing routine microbiological analysis of cannabis products, and various associated support activities in a BSL 2 lab. * Performs analysis using traditional plate-based methods, and qPCR based technology * Utilize Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and excel to generate sample batch lists* Prepare & maintain quality control cultures* Operate, clean, and maintain a variety of laboratory instruments and equipment (biological safety cabinet, incubators, autoclave, qPCR instrument,* Perform work in accordance with standard operating procedures and Willow’s Biosafety Plan* Work with QA to ensure quality of results including Investigating out-of-spec results* Identify deviations and perform corrective action * Seek out ideas for improving processes and participate in continuous laboratory improvement* Participate in method development projects, and method validation/verification* Prepare and review standard operating procedures* Participate in training junior
