My name is Sam Dwyer,I have worked within the hospitality field for over 10 years now, and have found a real passion for craft Beer. I am very grateful to work within a field that explores an area of learning I'm so interested in. Within my current role at Good Robot I am responsible for Coordinating and Executing the various events, running the sampling team ,and overseeing the donations and Sponsorships we are involved in. My educational background is previously in Early Childhood Education, and Recreation and Leisure. I am currently exploring the world of Digital Media Marketing in a post-graduate certificate program at George Brown College. I feel that the world of Digital Marketing is an area which compliment, my current position and chosen field. The program has allowed me to become more comfortable with different formats such as google Ad's, Canva just to name a few. It has also helped me gain additional confidence in regard to my current role and being comfortable sharing my promotional ideas. I am very grateful to work at Good Robot where my love for community development and Beer is combined! Previous to working at Good Robot, I Co-Managed a Craft Beer bar HopYard Halifax where I was able to further my knowledge and love for craft beer. A large part of my role was running events and working with local vendors, community members, and industry professionals.I would love to Connect with other Industry Professionals who are interested in sharing their experiences and knowledge, Always looking to learn!
