It was a wonderfully complex role that allowed me to work with many different people across the organization, all of whom shared my passion for bringing best-in-class pediatric care to children in our communities.I was responsible for administrative, procedural, financial, legal, operational, and quality improvement activities. I directed and coordinated the daily operations of the facility, established and monitored business practices, and identified opportunities for improving cost and quality through in-depth analysis. I resolved issues in real time, and promoted programmatic development, efficient work, and patient flow. I collaborated with IT, design, construction, space management, grounds, couriers, vendors, IS, providers, nurses, auxiliary care providers, and registration staff to create a positive culture, focused on providing excellent care to patients and families. In my time with Centerville, we grew exponentially, all while setting the standards for ambulatory Patient/Family Experience and Employee Experience. We were honored to win the inaugural 'How Might We' award for establishing the first regional expansion site outside of a 35-mile radius from Base. In the Clinical Trials Processing Core Laboratory at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, I helped prepare materials for patients on over 400 clinical trials, process biospecimens received, and collect data for later analysis. Collaborating with a myriad of major sponsors, I was a small cog in a large machine finding better ways to personalize healthcare for those in need of life-saving intervention.

At Maxim, I recruited well-qualified medical professionals to staff facilities throughout the Cincinnati and Dayton areas. I was available 24/7 to support my colleagues, my staff, and my clients to ensure quality patient care during an extremely tumultuous time. The skills I relied upon most: effective communication, clear expectations, organization, excellent time-management, and adaptability.

At Medpace, I was tasked with maintaining clinical data for a myriad of trials being conducted through our CRO. Meeting deadlines for data lock, ensuring that illogical data are vetted for accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and full transparency with our sponsor companies. Key skills utilized: organization, professional communication, multi-tasking, problem-solving, data analysis, and time-management.

It was my honor to assist Dr. Ann Ray of the Xavier University Department of Biology in her research regarding invasive species of Cerambycids. Duties included collecting, identifying, preserving, and curating specimens as well as rearing a live colony in the lab for pheromone testing and fungal biocontrol research. Additionally, I assisted in processing hardwood for dendrochronology data to ensure proper quarantine in the effort to contain the Asian Longhorn Beetle.

I served as a 68W "Combat Medic" in the Army, both as an active servicemember and a reservist. Duties included clinical patient care, patient transport, field trauma care, first response, advanced life support, preventive care and patient records maintenance. I also had the privilege of serving the communities surrounding our camp while on deployment to Uganda.
