I sing original folk/alternative rock music and covers spanning several genres with my group The Sun Followers (formerly known as The Bidwells). I also play harmonica, flute, percussion some piano and guitar, write music and arrange harmonies.

I am fortunate enough to be able to spend my Tuesdays working with amazing kids and teaching them about music and their voices! I am currently instructing and providing music for K-6 and an exceptional education class.

I am a full-time music instructor. The services I offer include beginning to advanced vocal lessons, beginning guitar, beginning piano, beginning harmonica, and beginning flute lessons. I have been singing professionally since 2010, and teaching vocals, performance and various other instruments since 2013. Through HWC Consultants, I provide assistance to select educational facilities in filing for E-rate, a program of the Universal Service Fund that offers financial assistance to help pay for internet services and supplies.

I offered innovative supports and services to people, responding to their hopes and dreams. I was the choir director, offered one-on-one singing and harmonica lessons, assisted and occasionally led the painting and drawing classes, led an exercise class, and offered support to my fellow coworkers in leading their respective classes.

I take phone calls, schedule appointments, order necessary parts, keep track of inventory & follow up on payments for my father’s plumbing company here in Chico. I work my own hours, so my schedule is very flexible with them.

I teach singing technique, theory & songs to students. I also teach ukulele, guitar & piano occasionally. I man the multi-line telephone & call students to set up, move or cancel appointments. When I’m not teaching, I keep the lessons studio looking presentable, file paperwork, respond to emails & make copies of sheet music to help myself & other instructors keep up with their lesson work when the studio manager is unavailable. I make my own hours.

I was granted the opportunity to take on a very educational trial period with this office; though my time there was brief, it was very educational!

I sing lead vocals & harmonies in a cover band that has performed about 700 shows in the last 6 years all over the west coast. Instruments I learned to play once I joined the band include: piano, electric & acoustic guitar, bongos, bass guitar, percussion instruments, penny whistle, ocarina & harmonica. I composed & edited monthly newsletters as well as social media posts & used Adobe Photoshop to design flyers, press packets & posters for advertisement. I chart out our (up to 4 part) harmonies & teach them to my band members. I love performing, but I am looking for a quieter job with more stability & less travel commitments.

I manned & stocked the salad bar, made & served beverages, took orders on multi-line telephones & rang customers up using POS systems. I also restocked kitchen supplies & bussed tables.

I manned the cash register, opened & closed the store, washed dishes, prepped & made food & drinks for customers. I was also in charge of monthly deep-cleaning of the store since I was very thorough.
