Since founding the conference in 2011, attendance has jumped from 80 to over 360 people, with guests traveling from across North America to attend. Interactive Ontario (IO) is a not-for-profit industry trade organization committed to the growth of the Ontario interactive digital content industry. IO represents over 330 interactive digital media companies covering a range of sectors including: e-Learning, video/online games, mobile, television, film, and social media.Responsible for all logistics management, partnership deliverables, and brand execution of the iVentures annual conference. Strategic partnerships lead on province wide interactive digital media event series, iON, strengthening the digital community across Ontario.

A non-profit co-working space and thriving community of creators making video games, starting good food businesses, producing films, designing Web applications, running not-for-profit organizations, and sharing skills.Managed internal and external community events along with select project and office management for internal dev team. Created systems resulting in boosted productivity. Worked with fundraising committee on R&D related to community-focused projects.

Game Development Undergraduate Program

This program is set up as a hybrid of both a school environment and mock studio. Each undergrad year uses agile development methods to work on original game projects over the course of the school year.Acted as producer in coordination with other instructors. Helped students create games from inception to completion while teaching them to manage workflow, work together, problem solve, network, and understand game studio dynamics and pipelines.

Established and grew relationships with local government and interactive community to help facilitate growth of the space.

Digifest showcases groundbreaking creations and trending content in digital media, art, design and technology. The festival fosters connections by bringing together industry, academics and the public.Re-launched the festival after a 10-year hiatus. Strengthened government and industry relationships. Handled all elements of event program, branding & marketing, fundraising & sponsorship, logistics, team management, plus academic & industry committees.

IO represents over 290 interactive digital media companies covering a range of sectors including: e-Learning, video/online games, mobile, television, film, and social media.Managed logistics, select programming, and design for multiple mid to large sized digital media events per year. Responsible for office management along with funding applications and financial reporting for local, provincial, federal, and private sponsors.

Working with clients all over North America, planned weddings for up to 500 people in the GTA. This position involved managing budgets, advising clients on wedding etiquette, trends, and creative ideas. Established strong, personal relationships with external vendors and clients helping to ensure proper implementation of every detail on the wedding day.

Supported a team of 65 by implementing processes designed to boost productivity, morale, and team communication. Handled all office management including HR assistance, inventory management, supplier relationships, and event logistics & programming.

Clients included Cossette Communications, Toronto Star & Method09 Design. Also ran graphic design studio under the name of BritWit Design.
