Heavily involved in the MOL (Main Oil Line) Valve Removal & Replacement scope on BP Andrew Platform. Duties included highly detailed multi discipline clash checking using PDMS Design and LFM point cloud, compiling a clash check report and feeding back to various disciplines. The production of detail design drawings including; destruct, steel grillage arrangements, removal and installation sequences including use of hydraulic jacks and mechanical skates, valve supports, temporary pipe supports etc which were produced using both PDMS Draft and Bentley Mictostation. In addition, I produced an animation for the entire removal and installation sequence using Autodesk 3D Studio Max software, which was vital for constructability reviews with the client, and will also be used offshore as part of the 'Toolbox Talk' prior to commencing the job.In addition to the above I have also worked on various smaller scopes including design of sheave support frames and pig launcher supports for caisson inspections using PIG's, various handrail and grating replacement scopes, winch support frame for umbilical pull in scope, and installation of new helideck lighting on various North Sea platforms to comply with the new CAP 437 regulations. As part of the helideck lighting project I attended an offshore installation as part of a structural/electrical survey team to come up with a suitable design proposal.Most recently, I was seconded to the Aberdeen office to help out on various projects including caisson swage repairs on BP Andrew, which included clash checking, detail design using AutoCAD including rigging and lifting schemes and installation routes, and also attending a round table review at which the client attended alongside offshore personnel, where I was responsible for presenting the design. -

I also attended various fabricators throughout the UK to ensure fabricated steelworks were as per the structural design drawings, and discussed any required changes at the time.
