• Managed direct voter contact for Southern Greensboro and Jamestown areas of Guilford County • Advised campaign managers on field and public relations strategy • Met with 15+ community leaders, members and stakeholders weekly, including local precinct chairs • Educated voters and volunteers on candidates and candidate platforms • Enlisted 206 volunteers and knocked 5,124 doors to elect Michael Garrett to the NC Senate in an R+6 district

• Prepared written content and format for the Senator’s weekly newsletter sent to base of 2,000 constituents • Managed constituent inquiries to establish positive communication between the Senator and those she represents  • Summarized  floor sessions, committee meetings and bills for the Senator in preparation for the newsletter • Researched issues and political topics for the Senator for policy and constituent communication

- Established and managed all programming for the inaugural Fellows Program- Worked with fellows Deborah Ross, U.S. Senate candidate; June Atkinson, former Superintendent of Public Instruction; Thomas Stith, Chief of Staff to former Governor Pat McCrory; Judge Bob Orr, former NC Supreme Court Justice- Planned, organized and publicized weekly seminars for the fellows, increasing turnout by 30 percent through grassroots and social media campaigns, reaching over 500 students- Contacted media partners to further promote our weekly seminars. The fellows program specifically has been covered in the New York Times, on WRAL and in the News and Observer- Voting member on the Student Advisory Board, advising the executive director on mission, vision and programming- Managed a team of 12 student ambassadors, producing a valuable experience for the students and fellows

- Managed social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter- Prepared content for print, broadcast and social media; new social media content doubled Instagram's following - Advised organization leaders on creating a comprehensive, cross-platform communication strategy- Coordinated events and sponsorships relevant and exciting to the student population, such as the UNC Summer School sponsored Old Well Sing with the UNC Clef Hangers

-Managed the press table at opening night events, acting as a liaison between my supervisor and the press attending the show- Prepared personalized press-drops designed for each show and delivered materials to local press outlets-Created media lists for target audiences

- Recruited and trained volunteers for voter registration, phone banking and canvassing -Managed a phone bank and voter registration table of 10 or more volunteers and reported outreach data to headquarters -Made 300+ volunteer recruiting and confirmation calls a week -Attended National Fellows School that was a weekly briefing to learn about core organizing topics, social media strategy and to receive updates about the status of the campaign
