Full life cycle recruiting, to include, but not limited to, client requirement gathering and analysis, candidate sourcing, interviewing, qualifying, resume building, resume presentation, negotiating, hiring, orientation and delivery. IT/IS focused recruiting and placement.

-Recruit for all exempt and professional roles in North America; approximately 70+ requisitions at any given time.-Worked closely and effectively with Regional and Corporate payroll, compensation, benefits, and human resources departments at each mine site.-Manage university relations with our core engineering schools and traveled for recruiting activities in addition to leading the Barrick internship program; approximately 100 interns each summer.-Supervise one junior recruiter and one recruiting coordinator and provide support and training to the entire recruiting department as needed.-Develop and conduct behavioral based interview training to hiring managers within North America with focus on sites with highest turnover.-Excellent ability to work with a variety of individuals, at multiple levels within the organization and build rapport.-Recruiting responsibilities included: finding and acquiring prospective employees, interviewing, conducting reference checks, generating offer letters, making formal job offers, scheduling physical exams and substance abuse screening, completing new hire paperwork.

-Managed 25+ full and part-time employees- Responsible for making Reno-Tahoe Intl’ Airport the 2nd best airport on West Coast according to the corporate matrix of profitability and customer service rankings- Increased monthly gross sales 8% to over $1.5 million and increased ancillary product sales 15%- Recognized as the top-selling employee - Developed and trained 10+ employees that attained promotions to management
