After graduating from Sheridan College in 2017 with a Diploma in Business Accounting with Honours, I was hired by CIBC in Norwich, Ontario were I currently work a Customer Service Representative. In my present position at CIBC I am responsible for handling the personal every day banking of our clients. This includes everything from deposits and withdraws to credit cards and other personal banking services. At CIBC I not only help individual clients with their personal bank accounts but also business' with their commercial accounts as well. My skills in accounting as well as my professionalism are essential to helping me in my day to day tasks. My time at Sheridan introduced me to the world of Accounting and its various uses in everyday business. The courses I have taken have taught me how to efficiently and effectively work hard and excel in my field. I have a sharp eye and this has helped me in my accounting courses to scrutinize not just the numbers but the information that corresponds to them and to prepare financial reports with ease. Previously I was employed at Provincial Airlines (PAL) in Montreal, Quebec for 2 years as a Flight Attendant. I received my initial training at the Atlantic Flight Attendant Academy in Halifax, Nova Scotia prior to being hired at PAL. At PAL I operated flights throughout Eastern Canada and the United States. My primary responsibility as a Flight Attendant was to work with the crew to maintain and achieve the highest standard of safety for each flight. I was also in charge of dealing with the client which included managing the money that was collected on each flight and filing the appropriate reports.I enjoy new challenges and working with new people. While maintaining my professionalism, I bring a positive attitude to the workplace.
