Coordinates and participates in a variety of duties associated with improving the daily workflow of the radiology reading room and overall image interpretation and reporting processes. Provides EPIC and other process training for radiologists, fellows and radiology residents.Responds to phone calls and pages, assessing/evaluating information with regard to providing radiologists with adequate data to assist with image interpretation and generation of reports; collects and prepares patient information, including study results; interacts with referring physicians, practitioner assistants, nurse practitioners, etc. as well as working directly with the radiologists, residents, and fellows. Provides occasional assistance with patient transfers. Other duties as assigned.

Receives, classifies and processes specimens in an accurate and expedient manner. Maintains sample integrity and ensures proper identification of all Diagnostic Laboratories' specimens. Accurately and completely enters test orders, patient, sample, and billing information into laboratory information systems. Follows Quality Systems Documents and meets regulatory requirements. Follow procedures to appropriately prepare and package biological specimens for shipping in a timely manner. Ensures that patient reports are distributed through computer and manual processes within required timeframes. Identifies and reports reporting processes problems. Tracks customer problems and logs them into CAPA (Corrective Action, Preventative Action) system for follow up and trending. Assists in customer contact to follow up on these issues. Completes departmental duties such as metrics tracking, quality audits, training support, and daily reports
