I have always been a super high-energy, crazy hard-working, happy & optimistic woman. But I also am at my best under pressure. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s in international business, with an emphasis in Marketing, while also playing on the Varsity Women’s Soccer Team. I am very competitive so having my performance measured by an objective number doesn’t scare me at all (and I was a goalie). My first job out of college was as a Director of Sales & Marketing for a small construction management company that was at a net loss. Within a year I had brought them to a net profit because cold calling is my superpower. To get this win I built my own CRM software, I took full advantage of my remote environment, I maxed out my sales & marketing outreach, and I honed my time management & prioritization skills, which all evidences my desire to crush quota. I will do whatever it takes and not stop until it is accomplished (which also means that I am a killer pipeline builder). I then moved on into selling software as a Sales Development Representative. There, I discovered that my team wasn’t doing our job the best way possible, so I proposed a new, in-depth qualification process, it was approved, it was celebrated by our AEs and forever changed how Advent SDRs did their prospect qualifications. Becoming an SDR didn’t just make me more coachable, I found out I was also gritty.Even though I have SDR experience, I have been out of tech for quite some time and am hell-bent on getting back into it, so starting as an SDR is my first step. I want my career to be selling software.
