I relocated the shop to Handbridge in 2018 due to a new landlord requiring us to vacate the Hoole premises. Currently a hybrid store - retail downstairs and an Upstairs Bar & Tasting Room. Currently planning to extend the Bar area to the next door premises at ground level.

The shop has been rebranded from Scatchards of Chester to let us showcase our products, services and awards better with our own website. The rebrand took place in April 2010 and has taken a lot longer than I ever thought possible!

I run my store in Hoole, advising customers on wines spirits and beers for themselves, for gifts, or for business use. I have a very friendly and helpful attitude - an advantage when the perception of the industry can be intimidating!I am hoping to build more on the corporate side, supplying businesses with corporate gifts or wine tasting events, or catering companies with wines to complement their foods.

I had a small signage business making vinyl banners, flags, vehicle livery and signage. I would design layouts, or use artwork provided by graphic designers.Some of my clients included Chester City Council (I made the large banners hanging on the gibbets outside the Town Hall), Cheshire County Council (signage and frosted vinyls for libraries), Salford, Warrington and Trafford councils (van stickers), plus many private companies.
