Having a passion for solving problems while also having a desire to utilize my creativity is the main reason I made a career switch into software development. Prior to jumpstarting my journey into tech, I was able to tap into this passion through education and being an elementary teacher. However, something about software development, specifically coding, challenged me in a different way that I enjoyed more. I will always be grateful for the experiences that being a teacher gave me and feel that they give me a unique mindset when writing code and working with development teams. I'm excited to continue learning new things everyday in a career that I love!
