Curates product lines on a monthly basis. - Generates and analyzes weekly and monthly sales reports (Power BI, OOMs, Pivot Tables) to assess prodcut performance, manage inventory, and project future product needs to optimize brand growth. - Regularly presents and connects with executive leadership on monthly product buys, quarterly financial results, and annual store manager meetings.- Daily correspondence with vendors and factories on all aspects of the product lifecycle including shipment timelines, garment fittings, price negotiations, compliance issues, and product needs. - Liaison between the buying team and the ecommerce, marketing, and styling teams. Brainstorms alongside and provides direction on new styling methods, changes in inventory levels, and guest facing product information. - Directly manages a team of support as well as provides leadership in the overall category team. Sets the pace and delegates tasks to accomplish daily workloads and larger scale projects. Provides training and encourages growth and knowledge expansion in buying processes. - Regularly travels to apparel market shows to meet with current vendors, discover new brands, and research trends for upcoming seasons.
