Born and raised in San Francsico, I was exposed to many communities living on the outskirts in lower-income neighborhoods struggling to have their basic needs met, facing constant environmental injustices. I’ve since worked in various internship positions under the same goal to create better change and become a stronger advocate while gaining leadership and research skills for future positions focusing on environmental justice and uplifting the voices and needs of our underrepresented communities.
