CurrentAuthorized to act with full police powers on hospital properties as a Special State Police Officer. Identify unsafe conditions and improperly secured areas/property to help prevent theft, injuries or damages to Hospital property, patients, visitors and employeesSafeguard and manage incident response to safety issues such as, staff protection details, patient stand-bys, escorts, patient holds/restraints, domestic violence incidents, physical altercations, and public disturbancesInvestigate thefts, shortages and other complaints involving potential criminal misconduct by questioning individuals involved with specific incidents as well as notify appropriate law enforcementMaintain accountability for valuables/property and forms of evidence coming into incumbent's custody while ensuring safekeeping and maintaining documentationRespond appropriately to Emergency Code Responses including, but not limited to: Medical Emergencies, Security Assistance, Infant Abductions
