I’ve always considered myself a lifelong apprentice in the subject of death and dying. After earning my B.A. in Philosophy and History from Mount Allison University, I stumbled upon my calling during an internship abroad in Barcelona. A visit to Poblenou Cemetery sparked my fascination with end-of-life traditions. Back in my hometown of Moncton, I expanded my skills, launching an improvised theatre company and working in disability management, where entrepreneurship and business acumen became second nature. But it was a sales role at a local funeral home that solidified my purpose—helping families plan for the inevitable with clarity and compassion.Now, as an independent preplanning consultant, I offer End of Life Education and Preplanning services, encouraging clients to face death with curiosity and empathy. I’m also licensed to provide life insurance in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, as a distributor of TruStage Life of Canada, which allows me to ensure families can fund the services they want. My work is dedicated to guiding others through the conversations we often avoid, making sure that when the time comes, both peace of mind and practical arrangements are in place.
