About Samantha Neumann

I have been in the Library Services field for over ten years. First with Baker and Taylor and now with Libraria (formerly known as Children's Plus, INC). During my time with both companies, I learned a lot about what happens between a library placing an order for news books through to the order being shipped. As an avid reader, and a naturally curious person, I couldn't help but what to learn everything I could.While Baker and Taylor was a large company with multiple facilities through out the country, Libraria is much smaller. This allowed me to train in more departments and increase the knowledge I already gained. It also allowed me to help my fellow team members by updating established Excel documents while creating new ones. These updates and new documents includes formulas and VBA Macros to help tasks more accurate and efficient. I'm continuing to grow my knowledge in VBA Macros everyday for tasks as well as personal. I do hope to learn Python and C# in the future in hopes of blending the two skills together.
