The Tech Crew provides staffing of Memorial Auditorium (MA) & respective areas in the CUB (MPR, Tech Zone, Red Zone, McFeely’s Coffeehouse, OT, meeting rooms, etc). The Tech Crew is responsible for supplying event support for CUB, APB, Homecoming Committee, and MA. These duties & responsibilities are essential for the success of meetings & events sponsored and/or attended by students, staff, faculty and guests who visit and utilize the CUB & MA and their services. The Street Team at the Ceddia Union Building was created to generate interest in CUB Programming events. Job responsibilities included creating posters, hanging posters, helping with event planning and execution, and working promotional tables.One of the CUB’s primary goals is to provide a pleasant experience and excellent customer service by all crew members to our students, employees, and campus visitors through the facilities & services we offer, the information we impart, and the personal attention we give to each guest.

As the senior communications employee, I was tasked with managing data from past internships of University students, helping plan and execute events, and attend promotional events such as open houses and major/minor fairs.

At my internship at the Performing Arts Center, I created media packets, helped manage events, and created a media clippings scrapbook to help the public relations manager. During my time there, I also helped to create relationships with customers, sold tickets during their season opener, and went to several festivals to promote the Luhrs Center and their 2014-15 season.
