Ranging from comedy improvisation to collegiate athletics, my diverse life experiences have enabled me to empathize and connect with everyone I meet. I view life through an ecological perspective, and value interdisciplinary work that honors the mutualism between humans and earth. I completed my master's thesis in June 2023, titled "Examination of Diver-Operated Video Surveys as a Method to Monitor Kelp Forest Communities" During my graduate program I:- Became an AAUS certified Scientific Diver at Hopkins Marine Station of Stanford University- Collaborated with ODFW to conduct SCUBA surveys in kelp forest habitats on the Southern Oregon coast- Assisted with undergraduate course instruction at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology - Mentored undergraduate researchers- Served as OIMB merchandise coordinator- Volunteered in K-12 education - Served as singer, songwriter, and voice actor for the "Arctic Chit Chat" educational video series from Cedar Thicket and the Iken Lab at UAFAfter graduating I briefly served as a Research Coordinator for CSUCI's Coastal Mitigation project.I am currently an adjunct instructor at Warner Pacific University and a seasonal ski lift operator at Timberline Lodge.
