Living in the country and a short distance from the beautiful Rocky Mountains, sharing the privilege of enjoying the great outdoors at almost any opportunity. What family wouldn't love mountain adventures?Mostly, my interests for nature and photography are uniquely inspired by the perfection of our Creator. Such Inspiration is fuelled by the spectacular scenery on our doorstep. Often, I feel an overwhelming urge to pick up a camera in search of my own artistic voice. Fusing my interests in the power of the captured image and in the world which surrounds us into an intense passion for landscape and nature photography. These days I find few things more invigorating than being immersed in the landscape during an epic display of light, and nothing as satisfying as printing my visions large to share with others. I am fascinated by the ways in which light and weather can transform the character of a location, and doubt I will ever grow tired of chasing those transient displays of magic light which surface every once in a while. 2018: Costa Rica | For 2 glorious months, my 16-year-old daughter and I studied and taught English to locals with Proyecto United. We immersed ourselves in living amoung the surrounding residents while living in 2 different hostels occupied by a 18-30-year olds from around the world. Work Education at it's finest! Pura Vida2016: Ecuador | For 2 months, my 15-year-old daughter and I immersed in ministry center services and support in Loja, Ecuador with over 30 international missionaries. Our multi-faceted experiences helped us bring our A game for everything from consulting to relationshipping. Personally, I used almost every tool I had in my education, work and life tool belt. This was not only life changing, it set me up to build a non-profit from what I learned from them, about my own capacity and most of all, I learned that we were all made on purpose for a purpose! Essentially, solution support was my personal role.Over the years I have also travelled to Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Honduras, Hawaii, Italy, Holland, various US states and the Bahamas, some on multiple occasions. Mostly they were at least 2 weeks in apartments, at a friends, on tour or ministry service.At home, we have hosted two great Holland high school students for 3 weeks in different years. Whenever we travel or encounter multi-culturalism, we try to experience and immerse ourselves in as many ways as possible that a shot interval stay can allow.

My 16-year-old daughter and I paid to take this course and stayed an extra month to volunteer (her MVC - minimum viable career)This, by far, one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
