My primary responsibility in this position is supporting the firm's Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation (EBEC) practice in all marketing and business development projects and activities. Collaborating closely with attorneys at all levels as well as with the Marketing, Communications, Business Development, and Public Relations teams across the firm, my main responsibilities include the following:• Planning and executing seminar/event/webinar activities for the practice group nationally;• Managing resources in the execution of marketing activities, including the development and submission of pitches, presentations, and RFP responses; • Serving as the primary liaison for the practice internally and externally;• Drafting and coordinating accolade submissions;• Drafting internal and external communications and marketing collateral;• Developing and maintaining mailing lists, contact lists, and client profiles;• Coordinating speaking and authorship opportunities with professional and trade organizations; and• Working with the practice group leaders to coordinate and develop assessments of emerging industry trends and issues to provide insight on service offerings.

Working within the Behavioral Sciences Marketing Group to promote academic journals from Routledge and Taylor & Francis. Primary responsibilities include:• Drafting, editing, and launching press releases• Creating or assisting in the creation of e-mail and other digital campaigns• Using InDesign to create promotional materials (eg. flyers, brochures, etc.)• Acting as a representative at relevant academic and trade conferences• Maintaining and promoting social media pages• Updating journal web sites with product news and updates • Processing in-house and external requests for advertising space• Collaborating with editorial and production teams to ensure product quality• Coordinating with authors, editors, and societies working toward each title's success

Assisting all groups in the Marketing department with the promotion of academic journals from Routledge and Taylor & Francis. Primary responsibilities include:• Researching relevant information for Marketers• Compiling relevant data in Microsoft Excel• Completing various administrative tasks• Drafting and editing press releases• Assisting in the creation of e-mail and other digital campaigns• Using InDesign to work on promotional materials (eg. flyers, brochures, etc.)• Maintaining and updating social media pages and other journal websites• Processing in-house and external requests for advertising space

• Perform research and administrative support• Act as representative of department at official university events• Serve as admissions outreach coordinator for Sociology & Criminal Justice majors• Provide comprehensive support services to department faculty --Handle student relations and questions --Research information for department classes --Aid faculty members with extracurricular activities
