I was raised in East Oakland, CA in a low income household. I graduated high school in 2019 and went on to become a first-generation college graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I graduated in 2023 from UCSB with a B.A. in Sociology, a minor in Educational Studies, and a minor in Poverty, Inequality, and Social Justice. In June of 2020, I began working in the legal field as a Law Clerk. In 2023, I transitioned into a joint Intake Coordinator and Case Manager position. These experiences led me to the realization that law is a career I want to pursue. In the Fall of 2024, I began my first semester as a Juris Doctor Candidate at UC Law San Francisco (formerly Hastings). I am ready to overcome any barriers that I will encounter as a Latina in the field of law. In my spare time, I am a reading enthusiast and pickleball novice. I enjoy going to the gym, and eating new foods.
