• Responsible for the design of stormwater management for site plans / subdivisions including systems for quantity control, quality control, and/or water balance. • Responsible for the completion of a number of hydraulic floodplain analysis used in delineating floodplains in order to determine development limits within a site.• Responsible for the detailed design of an underground stormwater management facility capable of storing 13,000 m3 of stormwater used in mitigating downstream flooding of Cooksville Creek. • Site Inspector for the construction of the above noted project.

• Assist in the screening of applications, inquires and developmental clearances related to Ontario Regulation 177/06: Development, Interference with Wetlands and Alterations to Shorelines and Watercourses • Assess hazard limits for development and planning applications including application of technical standards for flood and erosion hazard delineation• Review hydrologic models for applications such as culvert sizing analysis• Assist in data collection through site visits and make recommendations for permit approval/refusal• Assist in the implementation of the North Bay- Mattawa Source Protection Plan through executing education and outreach initiatives, organizing requirements of municipal land use planning, and supporting municipalities in meeting all other policy requirements• Completed surveying of Lake Nipissing shoreline properties in order to evaluate floodplain location using Leica GNSS RTK equipment• Developed typical drawing submission guidelines using AutoCAD for use in DIA permit application process• Complied precipitation data from local weather gauges in order to analyze monthly and yearly totals for flood forecasting• Assisted Water Resource Engineer in approving DIA permits by modeling localized watersheds using the MNR OFAT III Tool• Assisted in compiling watershed data associated in evaluating possible Energy East Pipeline impacts

• Analysis of three major creeks in the Callander region through the use of OTTHYMO modelling. • Assisted in completing various requests for project proposals, notice letters, and other documents associated with engineering• Completion of site visits and monitoring reports regarding erosion and sedimentation in a major creek resulting from pedestrian bridge removals

• Assisted in updating floodplain mapping of Chippewa Creek by: - Compiled historical data on bridges and culverts on creek - Conducting site visits and surveying of sites - Introduction to HEC-RAS software.
