Navigate complex legislative landscapes, build key relationships on Capitol Hill, and shape impactful advocacy campaigns.• Craft comprehensive strategies to advance policy priorities in the tax and trade sectors including:o Renewal and reform of the Generalized System of Preferences program, specifically surrounding Competitive Need Limitation reformo Passage of the Travel Trailer and Camper Tax Parity Act to correct a drafting error making it impossible for RV dealers to deduct interest paid on their floor plans for travel trailers• Draft and file regulatory comments on behalf of the RV industry to USTR, DOC, and other relevant agencies.• Plan, coordinate, and implement efforts to raise the association's and the RV industry's profile among members of Congress, regulatory bodies, business groups, industry organizations, coalitions, and other key stakeholders. • Established and led multiple coalitions of industry stakeholders, the Emerging Leaders Coalition and RV Industry Trade Advisory Panel, fostering collaboration and unity within the all-American RV industry.• Develop communication strategies to convey positions to policymakers, the media, and the public.• Actively engage in ongoing professional development, staying abreast of legislative trends, and integrating fresh insights into advocacy efforts.• Function as leading staff liaison for Congressional RV Caucuses, overseeing efforts to reinvigorate the Caucuses and provide additional value and insights to Congressional members and staff.
