The term ‘homemaker’ has a traditionally female association, and it’s not unknown that the field of construction is historically male. At North River Design Build, I align these two sides of homemaking to both create and activate the most important place we have--the place we call home. I am an adaptable leader with an ability to work independently and build cross-functional teams to complete any job. With an art history background and attuned project management style, I love finding creative solutions to construction, design, and material problems in any corner of the world. I have built private homes for billionaires in Manhattan high-rises and mud-brick outbuildings for non-profits in Africa. As an artist and builder, I love to activate unused spaces and create beauty in the discarded. I find great joy in creating a home or collaborating with others to bring their vision to life.
