Samantha Marie comes from a diverse background of social media marketing, writing, and getting her BA from the University of Central Florida. Moving to Los Angeles, in 2021, she had multiple clients for social media marketing, while she worked to make music and film her full time career. In 2021, she also released her poetic creative writing project, "It's Five AM My Time Again". Samantha Marie Saglibene, an American Singer-Songwriter from a small town in Florida, moved to Los Angeles in the Summer of 2021. Coming to Los Angeles, she began writing lyrics again, raw and honest. Best known for her "Five Minute Freestyle" songwriting, and melodies that give you a big hug, Marie is a gemstone in the world of music, where writing is often too calculated. Her debut EP, “Running In Place” was an honest work, one that rings excitement about the creation of music by using unique song structures and contrasting instrumentals. The debut EP was featured in EarMilk, Metal Magazine, Rival Magazine, Kaltblut Magazine, and many more. Upon the release of her debut album, "Summers", Office Magazine has written, "Samantha Marie Saglibene's album Summers is an introspective exploration of life's complexities and the ever-changing nature of the world we inhabit. Her lyrics delve into the paradoxical coexistence of joy and heartbreak, as well as the intricate relationship between hope and loss. The album is crafted with a focus on the season of summer, with each song interwoven with parallel stories to create a cohesive unit.2024 has shown her most distinctive work, with indie pop singles that reflect raw lyrics, co-production with Samantha in studio towards a cohesive indie pop feel, and melodies that you can’t get out of your head. Her second studio album, “shapeshifting” will be released in October of 2024.
